Christiane Jakobus founded furthermatch to combine her experience and passion for successful legal recruitment, career coaching and matching talents and employers in a highly specialized HR consulting boutique.

A fully qualified lawyer herself, she brings professional experience both in the context of a law firm and as a profit center manager in a leading specialist media company in the field of labor law. Prompted by a change process in the company, she completed coaching training with Christopher Rauen in 2009. Her focus: targeted support in the development and achievement of professional goals. This was followed by more in-depth training, including in working with the inner team (Schulz von Thun) and in the area of ​​organizational and structural configuration.

In 2011, Christiane Jakobus decided to work in "legal" HR consulting, thus bringing together her previous professional threads. When the placement of talent was added to the mix, she had found her calling. She has continuously expanded this since then: before founding furthermatch, Christiane Jakobus was managing director of the personnel consultancy WeberJakobus, which also specializes in lawyers and compliance experts, for several years.

Does direct contact also include classic headhunting?

As part of direct & executive search, we support companies and law firms in finding highly qualified talent. Our focus is on the discreet and targeted approach to potentially suitable candidates. This also includes identifying and contacting professionals with whom we have not previously been in contact (headhunting).

What is the added value of headhunting and direct contact compared to job advertisements and your own active sourcing?

furthermatch also addresses the candidates who have responded to your advertisements may have already seen it but have not yet wanted to apply (so-called latently willing candidates).
